i already put a post on here before about my 12hp i/c (281707) smoking and i haven't yet had the time to throw a set of rings in it because it runs so smooth. hes somthin new i found out though,, if i let it run on fast it will run smooth but when im driving around and hit a rock or somthin and it makes the tractor bounce then the enginegoes "pop pop" and little clouds of smoke comes out,, is this somthin else than the rings,, would a little gas in the oil(not enough to smell i just know its there) cause this or is it to do with the carb, thanks

Does sound like the carb....
Because when you hit that bump... its affecting the float in the carb

so probably a good cleaning and a kit and i would be alright, another thing is, can i order the brass peice where the needle goes in and if i can, could someone tell me the part number,, thanks for the reply
