Wow, my first entry here on the Racing Champs room.
I snagged this at a flea market in MD last weekend. It will go well in my collection.

I'm new here, too. I haven't been actively collecting diecast since late '99, early 2000. In fact, I've been selling off most of my previous collection, with the exception of my Hot Wheel sets, 100%'s, and Racing Champions. I didn't collected much JL before, but the last couple of months I've broken the bank. As for the flea market find, I listed a full set of those RC Hot Rods on evilbay 3 times before I sold them back in the Summer. It was so disappointing at what I finally got for them. I was beginning to think nobody else collected RC but me until I discovered this diecast site the other day. The '57 Chevy you snapped up at the flea market and the magenta and gold lowrider '63 Chevy are all that I kept for myself. It's funny, I used to like Racing Champions Mint, Motor Trend, Hot Rods, etc. over Johnny Lightning and regular Hot Wheels. Now I prefer Johnny Lightning's newer casts and detail over the Racing Champions and Hot Wheels I used to collect. A multi-piece Hot Wheels and a Johnny Lightning are real close in my book these days. It just depends on the detail and casting. By the way, will someone please define BWF and RC2 to me. I think RC2 has something to do with JL, but BWF sounds like something in a personal add.:p

Hey! Welcome to the board (little late) I usually hang out in the JL forum.
RC2 bought out PlayingMantis and now currently owns the Johnny Lightning brand.
BWF - NOT what you're thinking! :drunk: Look at that '57 Chevy - it is Black With Flames - get it? By the way, I'm a BWF collector, too!
