Hey guys, just wondering if anyone can help me here...I have the P-51 Mustang PTS (.46 Evo engine) system from Hangar 9. I have started having problems with a few things.

1) As I'm fueling up the tank, about 5 seconds into fueling, gas starts coming out of the air intake. It takes about 20 seconds or so (using an electric pump) to fill the tank completely. However, as it's filling, fuel constantly drips out of the carb.

2) I have done runup after runup, and seems that about 3 minutes into wide open throttle, the engine loses a couple hundred rpm. It keeps doing this until it is about to die, but then i idle the throttle, go wide open again, and it does the same process all over. Could this be the fuel tank?

Other than that, plane seems to be great...also, a 6" prop came with the plane, and the shop gave a 7" after i broke my 6"...could this be too much load on the engine? (3 bladed prop)

Thanks.

1. You should be fueling through the line that goes to the carb. That way you know the tank is full when fuel starts coming out of the pressure line attached to the exhaust.

2. A couple hundred RPM on a 2 cycle motor is not a big deal on the high end. Although it could still be a fuel tank issue.

3. Is the prop 7" pitch or 7" diameter? You need to be more specific on this one.
