I always loved Faller cars, just because they're different, but they're generally out of my price range. Several years ago I was lucky enough to trade a couple of Mercedes 230 bodies with a guy in New Zealand, of all places, but I haven't found anything since then... till a few months ago. I won a Fleabay auction lot of a few junker Faller bodies, including a 230 and a 300, each missing the roof, and an Opel Diplomat missing bumpers. The whole lot came in around 15 bucks with shipping, if I recall correctly. I finally got around to doing something with the 300:

it ain't perfect, but now I have a Mercedes to run around my track. The roof was left over from a JL '59 Impala that I converted to the top-down version, and the windshield is from some random diecast that I don't recall... it was in the parts box from another project. I hacked up a JL chassis to get it to fit somewhat... the slightly longer wheelbase than Aurora actually works better to try to get wheelwells lined up...
