View Full Version : Big Boys Toys Automotive Forum
hankster 11-11-2006, 01:54 PM We have decided to add a new Automotive forum to HobbyTalk to see if we can generate a little interest on this topic. I know everyone has a vehicle and maybe some of you have done a few modifications or restorations to it that you'd like to share. Feel fee to post about them or even ask about repairs, costs, etc. Have fun!
DaCustomizer 11-11-2006, 04:08 PM Great idea hanster! thanks!

partyplatedave 11-19-2006, 07:33 PM WOW....nice cars....that was nice of you to give her the newer one...LOL.....i hope you dont leave for work at the same time because racing down the driveway could be potentially deadly with these cars...LOL......
Hooper 11-21-2006, 07:43 AM Here is my modified '02 Z28. It's a great all around vehicle and doesn't get left behind at the lights too often.;)
SEBRING 11-28-2006, 07:39 PM I OWN A 2000 CHRYSLER SEBRING LIMITED CONVERTIBLE, A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO IT WAS BROKEN INTO, SIDE WINDOWS WERE BROKEN. I HAD THE WINDOWS REPLACED AND EVERYTHING SEEMED TO BE FINE. TWO DAYS LATER NEITHER DOOR WOULD OPEN I TRIED EVERYTHING TO GET THEM TO OPEN THEY WOULD NOT. I THINK IT MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE FACTORY ALARM SYSTEM. I HAVE SPOKE WITH THE CHRYSLER DEALER, THEY WON'T GIVE ME ANY REASON FOR IT. THEY WAN'T TO SEE THE CAR BEFORE THEY CAN DO ANYTHING. MIGHT ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WHY THIS IS.

Nice!!
S4Simon 12-30-2006, 03:25 AM I do like nice cars, and when you start to slow down on building the scale models I suppose there's only one way to go, and that's full scale exotica(r).
Here's my 1:1 scale weekend car, a Lotus Esprit. Photo was taken outside my old house in London a couple of years back. Now I'm living on the beach in Australia.

joez870 04-25-2007, 07:14 AM Hi Guys!
Here is my new toy.(My wife said I have been a very good boy so I got to buy it last weeked!)
I have a long way to go but there is plenty to work with!
"Mojo" sports a 4" chop and a 5" drop. The front end has been updated with Mustang II suspenders, while the rear got a 10 bolt. The original 6 motor and trans were swapped out for a 4-bolt 350 and a 700R4 trans. (still needs driveshaft shortened)
The wife busted me sitting behind the wheel making "V'roommm" noises and laughed herself silly. :p
Thanks for looking!
TX Street Racer 04-25-2007, 10:20 PM AWESOME project joe...should make a damn fine cruiser when completed!!!!
