If any Marchon collectors visit this forum, you may be interested to know there is a new Collector’s Guide to Marchon MR-1 slot cars. It lists all the cars made by this rather unknown toy company plus the follow-on lines by Scalextric and Empire. Collectors who must have every variation of a car should enjoy this guide. The person who compiled the Marchon section of Howard Johansen’s slot car price guide also helped with this book and many errors in Howard’s book have been corrected. This is the first HO slot car collecting guide to be published in years.
