The whole Venom thing was after my time, so I don't know whether that story-line is a good thing or a bad thing - but Church makes a perfect Sandman. I'll definitely be buying a ticket.

In the comics the Venom story line was one of the best ideas that Marvel had had for Spidey for some time. Obviously he won't get the suit on another planet during the Secret Wars in the movie so I don't know how they will pull it off. Venom was Spideys most vicious and cruel nemesis up until Carnage came along later.
I think doing Venom in the movie is on par with bringing the Green Goblin and Doc Oc in previously. He hasn't been around as long but he has been the near top fan fav since he began.
I'm sure there will be a big outcry from Spidey fans who haven't read a Spidey book since the 70's, Spiderman like many other heroes improved since those days.

Maybe Jameson son comes back with it during his visit from the moon? I think the next preview you will finally see (maybe premiere with the Ghost-Rider movie) Venom.

I read what it was on one of the links, and it sounds corny, and I ruined the movie for myself. ( I wish I could delete brain files like a computer. I several gigabytes of crapola.)
