I had a ntc3 I was trying to sell had this wallbanger guy want to do a trade of some kind.
I sent him pics of my car he sent me pics of a RDX he wanted to trade.
Me like a dummy took the deal that was back on 9-21-06.
We were going to ship out each car that monday I did he didn't told me two week later he was a fire fighter and got sent out the sunday before he could ship the car but should get it out the next day.
Here it is 11-9-06 still no car and want return any of my emails.
So if you eaver have a deal with wallbanger(mike chappell) run the other way.

He got the car I sent to him he just never sent me the car in trade.

How did you send it if you shipped it usps thats mail froud and you can turn him in.

i like using usps. when i send by usps i send priority w/delivery confirmation (cant say they did not get it) and i only insure at request/additional fee, but the post office always asks me the value of item and i tell them (depending on item 50.00 to 100.00 more than deal was for this seems to make my post office handle the package a little better than normal. i have never had any problems with trade deals but i am wary of sending first now because there have been a lot of scammers on the boards (all of them) lately. just when you send it make sure there is somewhere that you can state the value of the item, check the policy of who it goes through (usps,ups) if the package is sent delivery confirmation, if delivery is confirmed (they got the item) law enforcement should get involved (especially if you use e-mail to set up the deal and everything is there, just remember to keep all of the e-mails to and from from your trade deals then you have proof of the terms of the deal and that will help in legal matters) if law enforcement does not get involved when you have all of the saved e-mails stating the deal and all terms then you can take it higher or(just go to where the package was shipped and beat the snot out of them) and one more rule of thumb (use common sense) 2 points here. 1. why would you send an r/c car to an office or a service station or a resteraunt, and 2. if the deal is to be sent to a p.o box contact the post office where it is going and ask them it that p.o. box is registered to the person you are sending the item to (if not you can communicate further before you risk a problem)

But looks like he wasn't going to send the car it just sucks that there are people out there that will stiff you like that.He knows I'm on one end of the U.S. and he is on the other but there are ways too get him.

if you have recepits, and email conversation, then you can pursue this with local police in HIS area.....

Ya I have all the emails that we sent each other all the UPS info and pics of the car I sent him and the pics he sent me of the car I didn't get.
