You can see pics of the new CRC front end at http://www.teamcrc.com/crc/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=54&mode=&order=0&thold=0
Its coming on their new 12th scale but a 10th scale version with longer kingpins and blocks to adjust upper arm length and height should be done in December.

It's about time somebody came up with a new front end. Hopefully it works as good as it looks. Can't wait to try this out.

I got an upclose look at this front end at Marshall about a month ago. Steve Pemberton was nice enough to show it to me. It was very smooth and had no slop in it. Wish I could say that about me current front end. Plastic in hand and ready to spend.

Theyve got a few guys testing the 12th scale version on Oval right now. Frank said he hoped to have some 10th scale version's for testing in a few weeks just to make sure that the kingpins and such would hold up and to test different lengths for larger springs and such.

yeah im all over this :) hopefully they make it such that you can just shim the upper hinge pin block. would be nice not to have some tall block with multiple holes in it :)

No there will be spacers to put between the lower block and upper block I do believe. So you dont have to take the arm off to change the middle mount. The lower one screws to the bottom of the arm now and then the top one screws down from the top. There will be a spacer that goes between the two of them....at least that was my understanding. As soon as I get one of the prototypes I'll post pics of it;)

Is this front-end going to be included with the 1/12 oval kit as well?

Im sure that once they have the front end kits up and ready it will be included in all of Franks cars.

Maybe if it works it will be the new standard front end for all the pan car kits.
