Our next Big Track race is Saturday, Nov. 11. on the 48' X 90' carpet surface.
Plenty of pit space, good lighting and food on site. If you want track time on one of the Midwest's largest tracks, doors open at 1:00 pm and racing starts at 4:00 pm.

Do you have a rollout for 13.5 stock for the big track?

Hey MidwestRC -- remember they race -- 5 MIN -- races there ! :-)

We only run 4 min. races in the 4 cell stock which is where we run the 13.5,s
We do run 5 min. for the bl class.
We run brushed and brushless together in the stock class.

I was referring to the "other" Dubuque track.. we ran 13.5 there as a 5-min class.

Oh ,Sorry about that. I thought this was dfrcr site. We race each wed. and every other sat. with every other sun.
The dub.rc speedway only runs about once a month.

The dfrcr will be racing on Nov.22 starting at 6:00 or 6:30 pm . Two heats and a main.
This race is not on the schedule. It was added at the last min.

We are fast approching the Jan. 1 money race and are getting a lot of interest. It looks like we will have a nice turnout for this event,so if you have any questions please ask now.
There will be food and drink on sale on site, plenty of pit space,and plenty of parking too.

We are in the process of updating our website at this time but here is some info on our Jan.1 money race.
We will be running a least four classes. They will be sportman,4 cell stock , 13.5 bl , and 4300 bl.
The 13.5 class will run under 4 cell stock rules but with 5 min. instead of 4 min races
and mains.

Since the race on the 1st is on the regular track, will you be having any practice on the 31st?

No we will not be open on the 31. We will open at 8:00 on the 1 with races at 11.00 am

The race on the first has come and gone. We had a very good turn out and I think everyone had a good time.
We just wanted to thank everyone that showed up to race with us and hope they will show up again.Also we want everyone to know that they are all welcome to come,race, and have fun with us.

I passed your e-mail to the rest of the group.I think some of them want to race in the sportman class now.
Iwill pass the word on to the rest of the sportman guys when I see them this Sun.
I moved up to the 4 cell brushed class this last week and now I am sorry.
LOL not really.

I want to mention that we have now seperated the 13.5 class from the 4 cell brushed
stock class. The 4 cell brushed class has really taken off lately.
We have also picked up a lot of new racers so the novice class is taking off too and is a lot of fun to watch.

We are having some trouble with our web site so I am posting a few new races we have added to our scedule. They are not points races but we will hand our placks for each class on these races. The new races are :Feb.14 , Feb.25 , March 14, and March
17.
Also I heard that the Dubuque rc speedway,at holy trinity has closed down.
We are still located at the Dubuque Fairground and are still running.

We had a real good turnout yesterday and want to thank midwestrc hobbies and fagan hobbies for the prizes that were awarded to the sportman and brushed stock classes.
We will be racing on Feb21,and Feb 25.
Looking forward to some good racing then.

Added race dates in March because our building became available.

Saturday March 17 (added), Sunday March 25, Saturday March 31.

Wednesday March 14 (added), March 21, March 28.

Updated Information:

Dubuque Fairgrounds RC Raceway will be extending its season. Additional races will be on Wednesday evenings in April (except the 11th), May and the first two weeks of June.

We are also considering a race on the second Saturday in April, May and June. Times would be the same as our usual Sunday races, doors open 8:00 and racing about 10:30 am with three rounds and mains - due to scheduling concerns, the Mains must roll off no later than 3:00pm.
