installed used gt7 esc in car,programed fine throttle works fine no brakes at all. any help?

Do you get any lights when you hold the brakes on?

Sorry if this sounds "NEWB" but, double check that your radio settings are at the proper settings according to the instructions.

i have a friend who had almoast the exact same problem. only his was with the novak gtx. so I dont know if it works out to be the same or not. he sent the esc in to find out that it was a problem with the fet's one of them had gone bad. so after he was told this. he was told no more. so after having his esc gone for such a long time he called and called and called and was told that the reason his esc was not avalable at this time was because novak was using the same production line as the gtx to make the brushless sport esc's for the xxx-t. then after quite some considerable time my friend received his esc back from the factory no bills no nothing it was now working. and he got some free (and realy realy sticky) servo tape. not even a single word from the novak factory. WEIRD!
