Anyone else see the new 1971 Impala and 1976 Chevy Caprice high riders at your local wally world? They have big ugly rims, but with some hacking and removal of parts, they are nice models and unique as they are the only small scale models of these cars. I'd say they are about 1/60 or bigger, about the same scale for their fresh cherries series. They actually screwed up and labeled the 1976 Caprice a 1977 model. 1977 is when GM downsized all of their full size cars. They feature separate bumpers and grills and pretty decent paint. The 1971 comes in blue and orange. The Caprice I think came in green and another color. Thoughts from a collector. ;)

I saw pictures of these cars on another site, and thought they were really sharp looking! I can't wait to see them in person. I hate those big wheels, and wish these were stock, but I'm sure I'll be able to figure something out. I'll take these any way I can get 'em.

I saw a picture of the blue 71 on Ebay but have not seen any of the 76. Have not seen these in Wal-Mart as of yet. Anyone have any pics of the 76 they can post? I am hoping to find a few of these to change back to stock Impalas.
