Heck yes,Perk Brown ran this car at Bowman Gray Stadium!!! He was a great one and he ran at alot of tracks in N.C. AND VA.

DANG!!!! FLASH BACK!!!! When we lived in Winston-Salem I remember going to see some of those races. Wheather that particular car raced I don't know. that would have been around '59 to '63. Mainly recall seeing the Hell Drivers there. Odd what triggers those old synapse

The wood bros raced there, Jr.Johnson,Paul Radford,Sonny Hutchins........They ran the GN division and the old pony car series there,Tiny Lund won the last grand american race there in a pepsi camaro!!Allison won there at the last GN race held there also,I went to both as a little won!!! RAY Hendrick,Harry gant,pearson, Buck and Buddy Baker,Flock bros,and so on!!

I was about 8 -10 years old when we were going to Bowman Gray. Don't remember much about who raced just a bunch of cars going around then. But I remember enjoying it. You remember the "Dancing Water" at the RJ Renoylds plant?

Its still there??? Cool. We're thinking about taking the grand kids to Old Salem over the Holidays. Always, for some reason, equated Old Salem and Christmas with one another. Might be the cookies. Love those Moravian cookies. They'd get a kick out of the watershow. At least we used to. But we were still watching B&W TV then. :p
