Corvette Rel 1 Prod: 2000 GM's: 40 Per car 240 Total 3 Castings 80 of each

Vettes are two colors per casting so there are 3 different GM's with 80 per casting. Cards do not have a picture of the car so if you get the 3 GM's you have the set.


MCG Rel 1 Prod :2500 GM's: 50 per car 600 total 6 Casting 100 of each

MCG Rel 1 are two colors per casting so there are 6 different GM's with 100 per casting. 50 are available on a card with one color of the casting and 50 with another color car on the card. So if you collect card board you need 12 GM's. If you collect cars you need 6 GM's.

MCG Rel 2 S & C Prod: 2500 GM's: 50 per car 600 total 12 Deco's 50 of each

MCG Rel 2 has 12 different paint schemes and tampos so there are
12 different GM's with 50 made of each.

This can be a little confusing but I think I have it right.

Based on the above the vettes would be the GM lowest production with
80 of each while the MCG Rel would have the lowest GM card prouction with just 50 of each the two colors on the card of each casting.

Far be it for me to question the man with 21 GMs (and counting) :thumbsup:, but is this confirmed? I've been checking hobby posts and auction sites regularly for pics of the GM Mustangs in MCG Rel 1 (trying to put together my own visual checklist for the ones I still need), but have never come across two different card versions of the same GM Mustang casting. If you or anyone here on HT has pics of the Mustang GMs to support this, I'd be much obliged :wave:.

I know for a fact that each MCG Rel 1 GM is issued on two cards with the same car in two colors. The complete GM set would be twelve Cards.
There is no difference on the cars but the cards come with two different
pics on them. I picked my mustang GM's based on the card options. I like Black so one of my stangs is a black pic but I have seen another version ( I think Red) If you go to the Greenlight Garage site and look at old posts I think there is something there posted about this. Also, one of the prizes awarded by GL a few months back was the complete set of 12 GM's from MCG Rel 1.
No question that there are two cards for each of the six GM's in that release.

My Set of MCG Rel 1 GM's:

69 Stang 302 -White Car on Card
69 Stang 429 -Black car on Card (Mike's is on a card with a Red Car)
70 Stang Convert -Orange car on Card
71 Camaro -Red Car on Card
68 Impala -Black Car on Card
67 GTO -Blue Car on Card

Thanks for the further detail ... and the bad news (lol). It's hard enough to get 1 GM Mustang, and as a fellow cardboard collector, this is sure to drive me nuts for years to come :drunk:. But, at least it will give me some more "holy grails" to chase :thumbsup:

Thanks for the advice. I've been pursuing with all the vigor I can muster ... but most of the people responding to my trade posts seem to have only the MCG Rel 2. That being said, I have 1 GM 'vette, plus 3 GM 'stangs coming from a single trade (Rel 1 - '69 Boss 302 Mustang, '70 Convertible; Rel 2 '69 Boss 429) -- if only the box arrives (it's been about 2.5 weeks so far, and nothing yet).

It has been stated here that the run is 5000 of each car in MCG Rel 2.

The Corvettes release One is limited to 2000 of each car. 2% are GM's.

The Pace car is a special GM made to give out at the Launch Party last May.

it says 2500 of each variation. the total of each car IS 5,000 but there are 2 versions.the green machines comes in each variation.
1 of 2500/2%=50

Just a note... the Stock & Custom that is already out is still Muscle Car Garage Series 1, the next release with the Dodge and new Camaro is Muscle Car Garage Series 2 which is the next to be released

So we currently have 2 releases of MCg Series 1 and NONE of MCG Series 2

Based on the above I stand corrected about the run on MCG S & C.
2500 Made of each version. 2% GM's. 50 GM's per each of 12 cars.
