This should be a great race. For those who have never been, it is a good chance to try the best short track racing in the North-East. There are many classes to choose from and the competition is very close.

For those that have already raced, this is the chance to come back and try the new carpet. The bite has really come up in the last few weeks. Track records have fallen this week and I am sure that there is more to come.

My predictions are as follows:

Pro Class ; hard to choose one! Just making the A-main will be a feat. The competition is the strongest that I have seen. The locals are very quick. Both Kenny, Dave and Dick know their way around the track and drive it like they own the place. But when Wayne, Wade, Tommy, Clayton and Leroy walk in all odds are changed. Add the friends North of the border in the picture as Steve & Eric Salvas, Pace, Martin and Andre Blais and the difference between making the pole and finding yourself in the C-main is very close. My vote is that the Alien has something brewing and will take back the track record. If he looses, the mother-ship promised to give him a probin' he will not forget.

Pro-Sportsman : Like the Pro Class, this class will be closely contested. It will be hard to predict. The Hanson brothers and the Whitmans are fast but TJ Gordon is the guy to beat riding thoe high-voltage SMC's. It would be nice to see Chris Roberts come back to show them how its done.

1/12 scale : Racin Rudy has definately done his homework. His car is very fast and is quick in the corners. A couple of bad breaks have kept him out the winner's circle. TommyGun is definately a threat everytime he races in this class. The Alien may have something to say also, but look for Rudy to take home top honors!

I cannot guarentee you that all my predictions will come true, but I can guarentee you that all racers will have a great time.

Come and join us this upcoming November 25th at the LakeCity RC Raceway!

See ya there!
Antonio

Hey Prez, how is that junior babe magnet coming along? Will it be ready for testing this Saturday? I will be there early this week if yo need some help.

Will you have any flyers with you this weekend? I would like to bring some to Barre.

Antonio

PS - the Alien says that once you go to a probe from the mother-ship, you never go back (or something like that).

Hmmm... quite a few competitive racers were left out. What about the Foamdonut? Jr Barnes? or wasn't there talk of Flag doing a comeback? Jeff Dreamie(sp?)? What about racers from VT (Tourangeau's)? Don't know if he'll come down, but Jocelyn Allard is always competitive.

if your going to participate, post it!

also Pat Hagget I noticed was very fast in 12th scale. Trevor White in sportsman has his car going good. Then you never know who else will show up and run well... Jim Calvary walked in for the first time at the Jeff Sears race and almost stole the TQ spot. Hopefully we will get some guys from here to try plattsburgh for the first time.

Tommy, you are right. I forgot about these guys. I am sure that we forgot others.

I am sure that the competition will be fierce in all classes. One thing that can be assured is that no matter how tough the competition, the racing is aways clean and courtious in Plattsburgh.

Glad to see you can make Bojo. The track is coming in good. We are running 1 lap more than we did last year at the end of the season. Each week it gets better and better by almost 1 lap . As the track gets faster the tire wear is getting a lot better also. By the 24th the grove should be a little wider and we should have some AWSOME racing.

less than a week to go. We witnessed some very close short track racing this past weekend. The track is really fast and this should make for some good racin'.

Track records were shattered and I am sure that they will fall in all classes.

I will still stick with my original predictions:

Sportsman: TJ Gordon is the man to beat with a new track record.

1/12 Scale: Racin Rudy's pocket rocket looked to be on rails this past weekend. If TommyGunn will show, he can definately make it interesting coming of a big win in Barrie.

Pro-Pan (Kascar): Looks like the Roberts brothers have decided to double team and show the competition a lesson or two but I still think that if the Alien can take some time off from detailling his new pimpin ride and set his priorities straight by working on his RC ride he can pull off a win.

Let's see what happens this Saturday.
See ya there,
Antonio

PS - Aside from trying to race 1/12 scale, I have decided to rejoin the Auto Jacques Vincelette Team and drive the ABC Graphix 1/10 KSG this weekend. Will it be a one race deal? Let's see what the sponsors say.

Is there a maximum roll out for Pro Sportsman?

Fireball929
11-21-2006, 12:16 AM
Tommygun rollout for pro sportsman is 1.40 max with 3800mah or less batteries.

After Sat. night of racing I just can't imagine what this Sat. night will bring. More big guns will definitly be in the house. Who will it be?
See ya this weekend.

Only 4 more days till the Autumn Blast should be some awesome racing in all classes. the pro class everyone is picking up the pace, And as for the Pro -sportsman class that is going to tough to get in the A-main. Can't wait i might make the G- main(because i'm a G-main Champion)

Yeah i'll be there will be a filler in the class ,don't have the batteries to keep up with you guys but i'll try. i would switch to a full size babe magnet but i'm hooked on the BLING of the silver chassis. DARKSIDE takes a beating and comes back for more!!!

ovalmaster
11-22-2006, 11:46 AM
yeah, I understand, the silver chassis is quite sparklie.

Neil, don't start being all girlie about the batteries. I will lend you some Voltage. In the SMC camp, there is always enough to go around.

If I lend you some voltage, I just want to first make sure that it will be used for goodness and not for evil (-VOLTAGE ADVISORY- "keep all children and women a safe distance...you know, if these packs get into the wrong hands, we can have mass panic in the streets!").

Always fighting justice,
