Just kill them with the bulbs, and 10 bulbs will pull 20A

Take them all the way down before you charge with 10 bulbs, when the lights go out put on a single bulb until it goes out and charge. And get you an Integy Torpedo to boost your packs, the best thing ever for these cells, it will increase runtime and decrease IR:thumbsup:

I'm assuming your talking about the NEW speed spec packs .

These are a nicad / hybrid cell and don't like the old / tried theorys of years ago.

Charge at 5 amps with a .03 cutoff , similar to a current nimh

Discharge at 10-15 amps MAX and stop at 1 volt per cell, anything higher causes too much heat damage.

Never drop pack to 0.0 with bulbs !

The night before you race , bring pack down to 3 volts @ 2 amps and your ready to charge.

Being a sealed pack , you really can't equalize any better than that.

The OLD NICAD packs are a different story , but stay with the above and you'll be fine.

Just kill them with the bulbs, and 10 bulbs will pull 20A

10 bulbs @ 4.8 volts will pull 15 amps

If it were a 7.2 volt pack then you'd draw your 20

But again , NEVER pull this pack below 4 volts at 15 amps
