I have a question about using two different types of traction compounds on a car at one time. After reading some posted set-up info, I have seen where sometimes the right frount tire may get TQ-8 on just the outside edge of the tire and Pargon on the inside. Pargon will be used on the other tires. Does the TQ-8 have more or less bite and what are the effects of this on the set-up? Couldn't you just make a chassis change and use one type?

I wound up using Jack the Crapper on 1/2 of the fronts and Paragon on the rear last time due to the carpet conditions.
Other times, I have used Paragon on all but the RF, and used TQ Mod on that tire.
Just depends on what the carpet wants.

Most of the time this is done to adjust right fron bite.. your setup may be right, but you need a smidge different bite on the right front.. Not so much more or less, just a diff type.. this is what ive noticed..
