Tim Mc 10-29-2006, 10:35 PM Racerx,
Which carb are you running? Is it restricted? This info could give one an idea of your carb setup situation. Which part of the South are you running?

Tim Mc 10-30-2006, 07:23 PM Joe,
We are located in Montgomery city limits. Lagoon Park Raceway / Capital City Racing Club. Check us out @ lagoonparkrcraceway.com
Our site has links to just about anywhere you would like to visit if you are looking for 1/4 scale info.
Good luck, Tim
jgoodwin 10-30-2006, 08:08 PM Very Cool website. I see the Boyd race is on the 18th. I would like to come down and check you guys out. I have a line of 1/4 scale stuff I am doing. It has done really well on ebay and the Hobby Connection sells it very well.
Some of the decals you can see on our home page.

Tim Mc 11-05-2006, 11:41 AM Joe,
I thought I would share an email that i received from Jamie (Belf28). He offers great Jet information in this email. Hope this helps...
Hey Tim im an engine tuner and here’s the way the jetting works.
There’s really no difference between 75 degrees and 35 degrees, what the difference is air quality/humidity.
If it’s humid then there’s no air so you have to lean the jet to match
the low quality of air... if its zero humidity then you can richen the
mixture to match the high quality of air.
You can buy a 10 times magnifying glass with light and read plugs.
What you’re looking for is where the electrode (porcelain) meets the steel
part of the plug; there will be little bits of aluminum in this area.
It’s just a coating off the top of the piston and it gathers in this
area of the plug.
What you want to see here are 3 little specs of aluminum evenly spaced
that’s jetted perfect! If you see a solid ring of aluminum the carb is
to lean!!!
p.s. 10 time magnify glass with light is a must (check radio shack) 30
times is to much reads specs on specs lol hope this helps.
Jamie, thanks for the help. Quarter scale racing needs guys like you offering up good information. Please, keep it coming.
