Yeah I'm looking to buy a new clutch for a honda g42, just wondering what size bore i need for it, will Ebay Item - Clutch (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CLUTCH-CENTRIFUGAL-3-4-BORE-GOKART-DUNE-BUGGY-US-MADE_W0QQitemZ290042006365QQihZ019QQcategoryZ64657 QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) work on it or not?

Also does anyone think that this engine will have the power to push a go kart?

I would measure your crankshaft's diameter with a set of dial calipers or micrometer. Then you'll know for sure what size you'll need to obtain.

Not real sure on the Honda engine's specs....I would think if it were 3 to 5 hp, it would be fine for a go-kart project, though...

most clutches are either 5/8 or 3/4 and can be belt or chain driven this clutch is for a
large h.p. engine dont spend a dime untill your sure on this honda engine look at the
crankcase opposite the carb above the oil drain and get the exact model and spec
call a honda dealer and they will be able to tell what size the crank is and if it will serve the purpose good luck
