Bachmann makes some nice running equipment........Climax's, Shays, Porters, 2-8-0, Even a Railtruck.
Great scale for a Logging, Mining Road or.................How about a Depression Era :dude: Regional line running a 2-8-0 C-16 a Porter down at the Docks and a Shay bringing in the logs from the woods :thumbsup:

No layout, but I have a Bachmann mogul in D&RGW bumblebee colors, and a couple of matching Bachmann coaches. I picked them up second-hand, from eBey.

The 2-6-0 is sold in many roadnames besides the quirky C&S prototype, so you'd think Bachmann would have done a better job by now, of genericizing its boiler details. It took them FOREVER just to get rid of that UGLY oddball C&S airtank. They still really need to do something with the marker lights, handrails, and that secondary headlight platform.
