Hello everybody, Looks like I will be going to China for two weeks in November. I am going over to pick up our 9-month-old adopted daughter, Le Ping Chung. Anyway what has this got to do with slot cars? One of the areas I will be staying in has a toy village that is bigger then a city block, so you know what I am going to be looking for. A friend of ours that went over said you could find stuff there that never makes it to the States. Copies of factory prototypes, seconds, and overruns. Who knows, I might see something from Dash or AW that has not even been approved yet. All I can say is I am glad my wife has a FedEx account for her business and since I will be shipping back Silk for her, I just might have to add a few items to the packages.

Congradulations on your adoption! You must be excited.

Good luck on the slot car hunt and please tell us what you find.

Here's an obvious tip -- Buy all the AFX Denso and Taka-Q Toyotas you can find (and get a couple for me too)

Sounds like a great treasure hunt. I am sure that anything you find will be a bargain. Good luck on the adoption process as well. Hopefully everything will go well.

 That's a great history: adopting and giving a nice life to baby AND hunting for rare slot cars, way too cool.

Count me too for some Tomy/AFX Toyota Denso and Taka-Q, like Doba was asking
