Watched "Ali" for the first time this afternoon. While Will Smith is quite convincing as Muhammed Ali, John Voight is downright scary as Howard Cosell. Granted, they've got him under about 10 pounds of prosthetic make-up, but his performance is all in the "voice". I had DVR'd the movie and I read the cast listing before I started watching it. I kept wondering when the hell Voight was going to show up and what character he would be playing. I was fully half-way through the movie before I finally figured out it was Jon Voight under all that make-up. Really an amazing bit of actorly transformation from Mr. Voight.
