Hey guys i am a newbie to electric i have a few packs of 3600,3300 battery packs they were given to me by another racer.They are about a year old and will not discharge on my new novak smart tray. If novak is set to 0.1 the discharging will start on a few of the cells.When settings are set at 0.9 nothing will happen please help.Sorry about the long post thanks.

Maybe they are already completely discharged. Try charging them for just 5 minutes so that you know there is some charge in them and put them on the Novak and see what happens.

Since you may not have an idea of how long the packs have sat unused, I would use a lower charge rate of 3=3.50 amp for the first charge. Either run them in vehicle or discharge them with a charger, string of bulbs at 20-35amp (whatever load you normally use). Wait a day or two to allow cells to balance and charge at a normal rate to see where pack peaks.
