Saw some at a Wal-Mart today in Mobile, AL for $1 each. Is this a bad sign for FC or just closing out some overstock?

I am not familiar with them, but I did find them here in NY too for around $1.50. My first car was a 1974 White Gremlin X, and I could not believe I actually found an exact die cast of my first car in the same color and year. I just had to pick one up.

I wish they made one of the Pinto wagon with the wood grain on the side like I had when I was a kid. I used to call that "The Cherry Picker'.

After looking at some of the customizing done here, I decided I am going to pick up another gremlin so I can do the rough version of my first car from when I first got it. I think I will start with a blue Gremlin X and make the rest match, since when I got mine it was mostly gray primer, had a blue door with white strip and faded purple hood, and one faded purple side. Man was that car UGLY! I fixed it all up, painted it white and it looked much better, but it was still a gremlin, lol. So I want to do a before and after, the guy who did the Christine inspired me to give it a try.

$1 is a great price for these... I found the RC Pacers for $7.50 at one WalMart, guess they just weren't selling, and up in Oregon I found a few 1:24 Gremlins for $7.50 also. Now if they would only make an RC Gremlin same scale as the Pacer, and then a Spirit too!
