A 1/43 scale Ferrari 250 GTO made by BOX from Italy. I've had this car over 20 years. I liked it when I bought it, and I still like it today.

Niiiiice. My only 1/43 Ferrari's are a Yellow CORGI 250 GTO and a really nice 330 P4 byJouef Evolution. The doors work on it but the rear deck won't.

Nice Ferrari you have :) and I can't believe you have this for such a long time!!
How much did you pay for this back then? Wonder how much does it worth now :)

I'm guessing that I paid $10-$12 for it. I bought it at a diecast show. I have a BOX Shelby Cobra that I will be posting pics of this week and it has the price sticker still on the box ($9.99). It was bought at a local hobby store about the same time.
I don't know what it is worth now. My guess would be $10-$12, or what someone was willing to pay on the 'Bay. That could be less than $10, or ????

Well worth the price! That's been on my list of the most nearly perfect car designs of all time ever since I first saw one in the pages of Motor Trend when I was a kid.
I have some Italian BOX cars, but I don't think I have that one. Nice pic, STUTZ.

Thanks BluntFronts.
I may be wrong, but I think I remember reading that the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO was $17,500 when it was sold in 1962. Not a bad investment, considering that one sells for over $1,000,000 now!
