As you will see there is going to be an entry limit for the first time this year so be sure to get your entries in as soon as possible. Hey guys Cecil and I made a quick trip up to Coopers this weekend to get in a little practice and all I can say is the track is super. There isn't a single bump or ripple on the entire surface. And talking about quick, the top 5 cars in EDM stock were at 42 laps and the A-Main win was with a 44/4:03. Someone did say the record was reset a week or two ago at a slow 45. Now that is quick for a stock EDM. It was great to see Pat & Norris again and look forward to going back in 5 short weeks.

Additional note: I did see Norris with a couple of large pulley's heading for the exhaust fan in the end of the building. Several guys reported that they thought the exhaust fan was overgeared last year so Norris might be going to a larger spur gear. Not sure if you can call that a Fixed-Gear class or not, but Gitchell and Butts might not need the artic outer wear every time they rid the building of the nitro car fumes.

What motel has the best rates.

I don't need to know about the hotel all I need to know is what time the heats will run Friday and will there be any practice Friday morning because that's when I will get there early Friday.

I would suggest you be there by 9am is not before. Friday will be all heats, unless they sneak in some practice time between those heats (lol). All practice is Wed & Thurs.

we might have to just get there Thursday then.

Me and a couple of friends went up to coopers over the weekend and the track was awesome. They took out the old clay and resurfaced the track with new clay, very smooth. The traction tweak used for the tires worked really well, should be a great weekend of racing. I signed up for edm stock, edm mod, and mod sprint. See you guys there!! :thumbsup:

Since nitro late models ran las year what's the chance of running electric late models this year?

I think the Open Wheel Champs can not run late models, no open wheels.
