I have torn apart 7 of my 6 cell packs to make up some good 4 cell packs (hopefully) My question is what do I look for ? I was told to match via run time then voltage but I can't remember if it was peak v or not and then by internal resistance. Well, my resistance readings on my GFX are no were near the same as the orignal matcher. Ok, what makes a pack better and or faster ? What number is the punch I get when I come out of turn four.

4c Punch welllllllllllll............. Voltage would be the best bet but as far as rematching your old packs, I would look to IR if it is extremely high then the cell is bad........ My guess is out of that amount of cells you have you might get a couple good practice packs but nothing really for racing JMO...........

When I rematched Nicads, or purchased matched 6cell, that were made into 4cell packs I matched as close as possible to voltage numbers and varied the runtime/IR by say 2-3 points for stock.
