Heres a pair I did this week. I've been working on my 1/43 track since I was able to grab several sets at garage sales and the Bay this past summer. Finally got it up and going. I used several sets of the QuickClick Artin stuff and layed it out on a 4X8.Only 2 lane, I'm cramped for room. I ran 2 radio Shack adapter to the empty power boxes, one for each lane and placed to power taps about half way down the track. Works great and me and the girls have had a blast, plus I can notch down the power to accommodate the little ones. My HO is on a 2.5 " X 5". Its 2 lane also. I do have aseveral of the old AFX stuff in the closet but theyre 4 lane and wouldnt fit on the small table.
The Jack is hotwheels version of a Monte Carlo which I dont like as much as the Dale Jr one which had Artin on thebottom. I might have to make a mold of the other artin so I can make a whole mess of them with different drivers. I know 1/43 is a odd size but I just dont have the room for a 1/32 track, and the artin stuff is priced so darn cheap. Also this is my first attempt on doing decals this size on my alps. I had a few problems with the white on DaleJr. Any tips from you guys on the settings for the best results? I'm using the Alps 1000. Enjoy the pics. JR
