Frankly, I would like to see some 80s cars. More exactly. An 85 Fiero GT wouldn't be bad. Maybe some Buick Skylarks would look nice. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? 70XR7 10-18-2006, 12:14 PM Cougars would be good. I'd love to see them produce cars that aren't available from every other company - I can get Camaros, Mustangs, GTO's, Impallas, Corvettes from any diecast company. Obviously, they have to establish a brand and make money before they do things like an AMC Marlin, but given the quality of the cars they make and the lack of competition with regards to some castings, it seems like they would have a market. Adam Hosaflook 10-18-2006, 12:17 PM Volkswagens would be good to now that at think about it. Some old VW Bus. Haven't see any real good versions of those done in a while. johnz28 10-18-2006, 01:01 PM hey a 85 Fiero GT would cool , how about a 1978 skyhawk buick in red, Pewter02WS6 10-18-2006, 01:05 PM a 3rd gen trans am!!! midtown 10-18-2006, 01:05 PM Rumor has it that Motormax is doing the Fiero (along with a Chevette and Vega). The Hornet AMX, Mustang II King Cobra (with the right front end), the Skyhawk Roadhawk, the Aspen Charger and the Sunbird Formula. They were all colorful cars, that we saw everyday back then, and they would stand out nicely on a shelf now. Maybe the Pinto Cruising Wagon with the porthole, and the Vega wagon. Adam Hosaflook 10-19-2006, 08:56 PM Some old Ford Roadsters and T-buckets would be cool too!! Adam Hosaflook 10-19-2006, 09:27 PM It would be real cool if they did what JL is trying to do right now with putting things like 1/64 scale gas pumps with cars. Except do it a little better. Match a pump with a year. Like 50s and 60s cars matched with thier appropriate pumps. That would be pretty cool. maybe with a pile of tires our metal gas and oil containers from the era. Just throw'en the idea out there. glhshelby 10-19-2006, 09:44 PM 1971 `Cuda hardtop 1986 Shelby GLHS 1989-1991 Dodge Daytona Shelby 1992-1993 Dodge Daytona Iroc R/T 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 limited 1987-89 Shelby CSX,CSX-T,& CSX-VNT 1987 Shelby GLHS 1972-74 Barracuda & `Cuda 64-66 Chrysler Imperial Dodge Mirada CMX 360 Adam Hosaflook 10-19-2006, 09:57 PM Old Studebarkers would look cool or the Tucker Torpedo Old Milk Trucks would be hard but if done right would be cool. I hope the Chevette is the later '80s version. As for Greenlight: Make everything. I won't mind buying cars I already have in "1/64" scale if all Greenlights will truly be 1/64 in scale, relative to one another. Small Gremlins, large Impalas. Just like the current Impala dwarfs the Mustangs and Camaro. If you can do that, I'll be a loyal customer for years to come. Swifty 10-20-2006, 04:52 AM http://www.sharpshopper.net/Home%20Page/bag%20of%20groceries.jpg Ephrata, PA?
