I have a Carrera 2 lane set. It is NOT digital. Today me and a friend were racing and we put 2 cars on each lane and man was that fun. We kept going until there was only one car left on the track. Will this hurt my cars,track,controllers? It was not as fast of course but it looked like and felt more like real racing. We used both Scalextric and Carrera cars. Any help on this would be great. Thanks!

When I've done this with HO cars, I found that the controller resistor gets pretty hot pretty fast, so I avoid it. Dunno if it's hot enough to damage it, but regardless, I still tell the kids they're not allowed to do it. Now, 1/32 runs on lower voltage than HO, and I know the ohm ratings of the controllers are way different too, so maybe it's not as much of a problem. I'm sure there's someone on here with more electrical knowledge than me who can tell you exactly what it would affect and how...
