I thought the first lap cars were supposed to be clear like in the AW webcam posting on the first page?

The pic above is showing them as a red translucent.....

That's what I was thinking too, after I saw this picture.

In the new webcam thread posting on the first page it shows these cars clear from one of the webcam postings.....

I remember a post awhile back discussing the first lap cars and how they were going to be clear.....

The current pic above shows them as red translucent.....

I much prefer regular different color paint schemes myself so these special red translucent cars do nothing for me......

I will wait till the standard issue regular cars come out......

We decided to do red translucent instead of clear. Next time we will do a different color. Not doing Thunderjet First Laps this time around. We'll see how this round sells. So far sales have been good (sold about 75 sets so far) without any promotion or advertising. When the cars arrive at our South Bend warehouse we will ship all First Lap orders first then to our B2B and B2C customers.

If going to Ihobby this week in Chicago, be sure to stop by and say Hi and check out all the awesome slot cars that will be on display.

The 64 GTO is a Thunderjet so it won't be a First Lap.

Hello Tom,
Are you going to repop the 68 AMX? Would also like to see the 70 AMX/Javelin for thunderjets. Randy.
