Hi, I'm new here and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have a question. I want to paint my metal guitar pedal a different color, and I was thinking about using a metallic spray paint to do it. It has a glossy finish, and here are my questions:

Do I want to sand the glossy finish down before I paint it?
