From your post on the AW thread about the white Cougar...
Give me the white body and a bottle of paint.. you can keep the white tires and stuff.. But I want that cougar lol....

Just what would you do with it?
You have me curious......

Hmmm Lets see, let it sit in the project box for at least 3 months. Take it out dust it off, pop off the chrome and glass.. do a undercoat..put it up on the started shelf.. dust it off 3 months later and paint it.. would have lots of time to think of what to do.. lol..mount it on a NOS tjet with thunderbrushes and thundershoes and a good solid set of weird jacks send it to mustang madness to annoy the pony boys and get disqualified. sell it on ebay as the car so fast Roger disqualified it before it even got on his track.. lol.. Retire to Hawaii with the vast amount it would bring in and become a importer of nogobomski power supplies from Kirkistain...

Coach- We have seen a lot of step by step on customs, but nobody has provided the actual critical path and time involved in the project like you have. I appreciate the narrative and hope that I can visit you in Hawaii.

I have a JL Fairlane I painted white about two years or so ago waiting to be finished when I get done setting up my HO track.

I have a bunch of unfinished projects too. I get started on them, and then run into a snag and put them asdie for awhile. I've been working ona dragster for about a year now.. maybe someday I;ll finish it.. or maybe not.

Sounds familiar. This has been sitting on my layout in exactly this condition for probably a year now, waiting for paint. It's supposed to be a replica of a friend's 1:1, but I misplaced the pics he sent me...

Here's a couple of resin cast Magnums that I started a year and a half ago. They were slated to be two variants of Marty Robbin's #42 stocker he ran back in the mid 70's. Maybe someday they'll get finished. :freak: rr
