BRL Regional Event Weekend Schedule

Friday
8:00 pm - Optional Practice (TBD and posted before each event 2hrs maximum)

Saturday
8:00am Doors Open
8:00 - 9:00 Open Practice (registration closes at 11am)
9:00 - 2:00 Controlled Practice by class / Last round by Heat
2:10pm Driver Meeting
2:30pm First of 3 rounds of qualifying
9:00pm Approximate end of third round (No practice time after heats)
9:30pm Track Closed

Sunday
8:30am Doors open
8:30- 9:20 Open Practice
9:30am Round 4
11:45am Concourse/ Raffle Give away
12:30pm Fast 5 Dash's (25 laps, determines grid positions 1-5 for the A-main)
12:45pm B-Mains (2- Bump)
1:15 All lower mains
3:00 A-mains

According to the information I have been able to obtain you should not experience any major construction related traffic issues. Assuming you will be following I-94 to Detroit.

The schedule above is correct, doors will open at 8am on Saturday morning. Should be a great kick off to the BRL season.

BTW: Received lots of positive comments about the BRL at this weekend Chicago Hobby Show. Also picked up a few new sponsors which we will announce soon.

So will there be any practice Friday night?

At the race last week (14th), Josh said no, but I don't want to speak for him. I would call up there to CEFX to get a final answer.

I'm still playing phone tag with Josh, Hope to have more information for you soon.

I really wanted to make the first race but I have to wait untill the Vinton race.

Is there a presign up sheet or do we just sign up on Saturday?

If you want to send an e-mail via the www.cefx.net site (contact page) you can pre-sign in and let me know if you want to reserve some pit spots around/near certain people. We've already recieved about 20-25 pre-reserved pit spots for the weekend.

Friday, the facility will be open but the track will not be open to run on. People can come in, set-up pit areas and work but that is all. We will be finishing up things and I want to keep it fair for all who can't make it out on Friday night (as Sonny intended).
