This '69 Chevy Camaro Z-28 is another cool one from Road Champs. It has opening doors and hood, and sports the 302 (motor size) emblem on the cal-induction hood. The Z-28 emblems are on the front quarter panels and at the rear above the license plate. The "Z" is Red and just doesn't want to show up well in the picture. The car is a dark-dark metallic gray with silver racing stripes.

I like this color combination!

How well detailed is the interior on these Road Champs?

The Interiors, engine compartments, and chassis are some what detailed solid plastic pieces, are usually all the same color (black on this car), but no additional chrome or painting details are included. It is Kind of like if you built a model and did not paint any of the plastic pieces. The chassis usually have two molded in standoffs that hang down so that the car will screw down to the display box that it comes in.

That'd look good doing a burn out in front of STUTZ's "Micky Dee's." Still think an old Hardee's would be better. DANG! I'm wanting a Hardee Huskee right now!

I assume the car comes apart with screws and the bright work in the interior could be addressed easily enough then?

That might be a possiblity of a burn out. I would use a black Magic Marker for the laid rubber on the concrete (which would be light gray).

Thanks for sharing the pics!

The McDonald's is still in the box. I'll see if I can take a pic of it in the next few days and post it (just the McDonald's in the box......no cars involved).

Perhaps you guys can give me some suggestions as what type of cars to put in the parking lot of McDonald's. I'm thinking late 50's or somewhere up to 1969.

I stopped at a hobby store looking for people to display with the McDonald's building, but they didn't have any that I liked.
