I picked up the new Brittany Blue Fairlane 500 '427 saturday . GMP makes some high quality stuff , but they screwed up on this one !! Its advertised as a '67 - but its all 1966 except for the '67 taillights !!! What happened ??? Even the pictures on the box show '66 taillights , but all I looked at have '67 taillights ... They've made several 66 & 67 Fairlane models before & they've been right , except for the very first red '67 Fairlane GT they made , which had incorrect interior & hood scoops .. Someone there in quality control / accuracy is slipping ....
Its still a nice car , & its the color of a '67 Fairlane XL I once owned ..

Pretty car. It looks like a real car from the way you took the picture.

It seems every once in awhile they (GMP) make a boo-boo. It's the same with the 1/12 scale Shelby Cobra (racing version). The position of the number, dashboard and seats are wrong. Mistakes like that make it hard to shell out $600.
I haven't seen the new Fairlane yet. Thanks for the info.
