minor scrapes to outside wall kenwood its all good. you have to adjust the car in a run just use the wall went 78/4:01.31 tonight on the track. can pickup at least 3 to 4 laps with more consistent laps

What is the centerline of your track.

ohiorcracer
10-23-2006, 12:46 PM
145is centerline. The best line is tight botttom in corners and 2-3 front bottom on straights and it is around 120 - 125

The reason I think thats the best line for locals is because the runline would be the same as flat.. Just a guess though... We will see next week.. he he he

Sean I played with roll out and it all was the same for some reason I went from a 2.15 and was running 2.8 laps and I also rolled out at 2.50 and was hitting 2.7 - 2.8 laps when running the shorter line.

Kenwood

Don:
I think what you are looking for is 10/52, I tried a 9-10-11/45 and
did not like the results. my batteries have not been used for a couple
of seasons so that may move the pin/spur combo once that is taken
care of.

I agree Kevin it was a great time. You racers need to experience the speed that this track generates. Fast, fun, and competitive. Dusty Dean is the man 90 laps. 145 ft. drive line. Yes, that is in 4 min. Later, Jim

Andy
10-29-2006, 07:18 PM

Last night was great fun. We had over 40 racers. Classes were: Pan (12th Spec, 10th Busch breakout, Stock, 19t, B/L, S/K); 4wd (Stock, 19t fixed); Mini (18th Sprints). Alot of variety and alot of fun competition. Come join the FUN. Racing begins at 3p and we were finished around 10p. Platinum Banked Oval the Place to Race in the Midwest... Later, :dude:

wow what a night of racing we had our first night of open mod and man they were fast. I had alot of fun tonight very clean and fun racing. Took the new leading edge car out and TQ'ED with it and won 19 turn A main. Andy Stotts took TQ in MOD and right off the start ripped the teeth right off of his pinion and didnt get to finish but Dusty Dean won Mod with Greg Finan finishing 2nd.

Jim Workman
11-19-2006, 09:36 AM
Yes, those MOD's were certainly fast. Kevin has been working on smoothing the track some more. The bumps in 1 and 2 are gone and Kev will be working on smoothing the one's in 3 and 4 as well. Turn marshals will definitely need some dramamine in the future. I didn't get to see the main sheet but if Andy Stotts hadn't spun a pinion he would have easily topped over 100 laps. And yes for those inquiring minds that is in 4 min. Hey Kenwood, better get your "A" game together the next time you come NORTH. There is some serious Mod racing going on at Platinum Hobbies Stonewheel Raceway. Later, :dude:

Beero
11-19-2006, 10:46 PM

Andy I donnt think he will be running the flat track for the charity race, he is not getting alot of takers on switching their cars back and forth. If the road course dont pick up he may make sundays flat track.
