RobDog 10-13-2006, 09:54 PM I am really diggin those fat tires!!
when do you suppose these diecast companies will stop calling Camaro's without wing windows,67's?
Guntownal 10-13-2006, 09:55 PM I like those wheels that look like Centerline convo pros. Thanks for the pics.
Did you find these at a store? I can't even find Wave 8s at my WM / Tarjays!
Atencio 10-13-2006, 10:37 PM I gave up trying to wait for Jada stuff to hit the stores Mead. Better off just going on-line.

That is indeed a 67 Camaro and its completely different from JADA's 69 casting. Even with the BTM style mods, it still has most of the appropriate 67 body cues. Why they left out the most obvious one (vent windows) is anyone's guess. They did it with their 67 rag top too.
I imagine it was intentional as those guys have to know their gen 1's.
Atencio 10-14-2006, 03:09 AM I never noticed that. So a 67 Camaro has the vent windows and the 68 doesn't?

Yeah, 67's had vent windows, 68 and 69's didn't. There are other differences between the base models of the three gen 1's too, some subtle, some obvious. And like other cars from that era, there were a bunch of possible variations on models and trim/power packages.
I wish I had a time machine. :p Camaros, Ponies, and Mopar for everyone!
Atencio 10-14-2006, 04:31 PM Thanks for the info Supersport

Yep, I know. But all I want is the W8 Dart racer and W9 'Bandit' T/A  What bugs me is dept. stores restock the same cars over and over.
A brand new local Super Target opened and i was hoping for some fresh BTMs... nope, wave 6 & 7s
chevyj1957 10-14-2006, 08:43 PM The black trans am looks nice. I really got to get 1 of them.
Chunkamunk04 10-17-2006, 09:59 PM Man I gotta get those Trans Ams!!! Thanks for the pics!
SuperSport 10-17-2006, 11:21 PM Sorry, bout the bad joke, but based on the demand for the black Firebird...
That TA might as well be a TH.
mn_dodgeboy 10-17-2006, 11:59 PM Love the SATB TA.
04stangman 10-21-2006, 04:53 PM I dont know what Jada is doing to the Stangs........ WTF, They are going down hill! The release 8 and 9 are ugly!
Atencio 10-21-2006, 09:07 PM I don't think anyone has made a great 71-73 Mustang. Taking into account the Jadas BTM'ized style I think the 73's in this series look good though I wish the rear spoiler had been done a little better.
Milezone 10-22-2006, 11:31 AM The Wave 9 is one hot set, we got the singles on the site Thursday and they are going quite fast. Kudo's to Jada on a awesome lineup.
