i have a tecumseh ohv five horse the throttle spring broke and i got another one but there is another wire peace that conects to the spring that i dont know where the other end goes to please help my son is frantick

should go to gov. arm

the link with a hook on each goes to the top hole in the governor are,and the link the spring goes on goes in the botton hole.make sure the spring doesn't rub agnist it.
