eating? :p Just kidding!
Actually, is the increase in die-cast price keeping you from making customs? For me, I never had any issue to cutting into a 1.00 casting and turning it into something custom. For the fun of it, even if it didn't come out, no big loss. Has the nearly 5.00 a clip price now made those who do customize, to take a step back thinking they are slicing up a 5 spot, or do you still cut away?

....for me time is more of an issue. I don't have as much free time as I once did. I will also admit that the starting quality of the casting plays a big part. If I pick up a blue card on sale and open it see all the flaws and realize how cool it could be, other than time, I really have nothing in it and it is good therapy. If a buy a 4.99 JL or GL and it already looks pretty killer then I also think, Lincolns don't grow on trees, this already looks good and then do nothing.
Is the increase in price issues for you other metal cutters?

Good question Mark. Well, I am in the process of Zingifing a GreenLight Stang. So far looking REAL nice. To get to your question, ya, the $3.99 price does slow down on customizing. I figure when done, I'll have $8.00 in this project, but you know me, I love Zingers. LOL

the price doesn't bother me at, since I don't customize cars, thats why I have Chris do my work for me...I just sent him 4 On the Rocks Camaros, 2 for me and the others are for him to do what he pleases, to make zinger WL out of them. That's $40 worth of cars...

I customize $5 to $10 cars all the time, sometimes they might even be more expensive.;)
