On some of the larger scale and more detailed very high end collectibles like Franklin and Danbury, Brooklin etc when you buy the casting, inside the package, usually secured by a piece of tape, you find the antenna and side mirrors. They really help set off some fine details and the only time I curse them is when they fall off or I lose them in a move.
Question is, would you like to see that type of detail added to a GL or is the risk of a whole left by a very small lost piece not worth the hassle? I'm thinking the possibility of children's toy regulations may play in this then again those marketed as adult collectibles do it all the time.
Cool or not worth the hassle?:)

Would be neat, but with that great detail, I amagin it would cost a lot?
Would be cool to see super detail in a 1/64 but I think its still way to small for all that. The 1/18's and 1/25's are more in that ballpark.
With in the last 5 years quality in 1/64 are amazing, Im sure the future will only get better.
On the same topic, Id like to see small LED's Headlights/breaklights etc, in a 1/64 :)

That would be cool but anytime I see that, the windows are all blacked out and there is no interior because that room is needed for the electronic guts. With LED and micro sized items it's only a question of time.
All that fascination started with me when my dad bought new T-birds in the 60's. They would send him 1:24th scale rolling cars with Ford Philco radios in them. I'd turn my favorite station on and play the hell out of those cars. That's where I think I get my taste for more than just a rolling car.......

I Would love to see it happen, especially if they could make a 67-68 or 69-70 Pontiac Grand Prix.

I think at that small of a scale that it detracts from the lines of the car. Mirrors for instance. I am glad they are not on most cars. Most 60's mirrors were face it, ugly chrome rectangles or circles.
