Jakes Performance Hobbies will be the title sponsor of our first oval show of the '06-'07 Stockton RC Raceway carpet season. Once again come join us for two days oval racing on our 98'x48' high bite CRC Fast Track carpet track with a Snowbirds style oval. This year’s race will differ in one big way from previous races. This year’s race will be a two-day only event and the track will not be open on Friday for practice. We will open on Saturday for about 5 hours of open/controlled practice to start at 8:00 am with 3 rounds of qualifying to start at 2:00 pm in the afternoon and run into the early evening. Sunday will be 2 rounds of qualifying and single ‘A’ mains. Awards will be plaques for all 'A' main contestants. We should once again have some great prizes to give away in our driver raffle from some great sponsors to be announced. A race flyer will be available next week, so mark your calendars, and come out to the only carpet oval program on the west coast. The Comfort Inn in Stockton on March Lane, 209-478-4300, has agreed to a racers discount that will be good for all Stockton RC Raceway racers traveling from out of town. The hotel was our host hotel for the Carpet Nationals and everyone said it was nice. The rate will be $54.99 for single our double and $79.99 for a suite. Suites have two beds and a sofa bed and are two rooms. You'll need to use STOCKRC as the group code. I'll post this info on our website this evening.

Flyer will be done tonight, I hope and out on Saturday.

Is ROAR membership required and if so will we be able to sign up at the track?

Sorry that neither Ruben or myself have checked this thread ... But, the race is a week away and the entry list is looking real good! Plenty of guys from Nor-Cal, and a strong showing of So-Cal oval racers will make this a great race!
