Things are lookin good at newberrys. A good amount of edms. Track is good, racin is awesome. The guys have been known to have money races. When they do ill post it. Cmon over and spin some laps. We have been racing on saturday nites. This track is indoors, we will be racing all winter. Later Jenz

Jenzo, What type of EDM's are you running?? I have a leading edge DC1 and i live about an hour from the QC and would like to come race sometime. I guess i want to know if you guys are running b3/4's or CW/Terminator type EDM's?? Thanks for the info.

Been running both, buggys and cw cars. I bet a dc1 would rock around the track. Guys have been running stickers and qualifiers and buggy tires too. The track is usally pretty sticky, little drier in the mains. Cmon over.. Saturday nites. I wont be there the 18th of this month. BRL race. Later Jenz

I'll be at the BRL also, Vinton is my Hometown so i'll be there for that one for sure and on the 5th as well. I'm hoping to get to Newberrys in december sometime. Thanks for the information.

there was a good amount of racers last saturday. It was the first weekend there was enough sprinters to race. Newberrys starting to stock some oval stuff now. Looks to me that the oval is going over good for larry. Cmon out and enjoy getting dirty.

Racing at newberrys has been exciting. New faces every week. Wont be long and he will be having a money race. Ill let everyone know when. Till then keep it on 3 wheels.

hey jenzo, are you going to come up and race at lincoln at all this year. we race on friday nights, and next saturday is a toys for tots race, should be a lot of fun.

As long as its not on friday or on the 6+7 or 27+28. That doesnt leave much room.. Im haven the indiana guys at newbs in between one of those dates. February is better, Its wide open..

well february has an rc pro series electric race down in marion, the big khuna at leisure hours, and my wife turns 30 that month, so it will be unpredictable as all hell

Im racin at newberrys tomorrow. They have recently resurfaced the track. Ill give you guys a heads up on how its doing.

Racer count was down. Probably due to ice storm. Track still needs work. Kinda bumpy.

just bought a b4 for oval from larry 2 weeks ago. have got the edm body done and my tires (custom works) are finally here and mounted so it looks like ill get a chance to try it out at newberrys saterday.

have a question and didnt know if i should start a new thread on it so here goes. now when i installed the 2 in custom works wheels on the b4 i noticed they rubbed on the topside of the rear hubs. some little filing down seemed to help until i took a practice run, now the hubs were filed down almost into the metal of the upper tie rod ball. so not much more i could do, i removed the tie rod balls and redrilled holes lower in the hubs and remounted them as well as griinding down the hub just past the ball holes. after some tweeking it seems a fair solution, just wondered if this is what everyone else has done, and if not any other suggestions here? sure ill be talking to newberry and others saterday. i found it unusual that in searches ive not encounterd this issue or a fix. anyway hope to see you all out there on the weekends ;)

Ya the b4s werent meant for 2.0 tires and wheels. Thats what most people do. I ran a b4 for a while, it pushed like a dumptruck. Thats what you will have to work on. Ask donnie knight, he knows what it takes to make one go round and round.

I haven't heard of much, but haven't been over there yet. From the pics on their site looks like it's missing an important part of the track.....banking.

They dont believe in banking. Or traction..

well fellas everyone has their own opinons on what a track should be like. some people look at my track and think i'm crazy! and they're right!!!!. but that's beside the point. that track is there because alot people can't race during the summer due to other priorities. and it's nice to know when cabin fever sets in, the track is out there. ktssu!!!

R.I.P. Newberrys dirt oval.... I hate to say it guys... but because of lack of support and people showing up to race...newberrys will be all off road now. Guess we'll just have to wait till april for some dirt oval... sucks.... :cry:

I talked to donny knight last nite. He said he helped tear up the oval and build the new offroad. If any of you guys get the itch check out www.twinbridgesrc.com They will be running edms.
