A couple questions please.

1. Have you tried to get one of each of all the regular release GL casting variations so far. Not yet but in the works!
2. Do you also show interest in the promo versions like Reno and Russ' Flamed series? If no, go to question four. Russ' stuff is awesome and are all must-haves. Individual event castings have less appeal to me unless I myself was actually there are part of it somehow.
3. If yes to #2, do you buy them direct from the parent site or do you try and find them cheaper on e-bay? Is cheaper wrong?
4. Do you only buy what you like or are you going to try and keep up with all GL offerings? If it gets out of hand than I'll go to just what I like but if possible and the numbers stay manageable, there is some value to having a complete set.
5. Did your interest in GL come about due to their attention to detail only or did the fact other manufacturers are getting away from what you are interested in, play a part in your interest? Both, At first I stayed away because I couldn't keep up with JL as it was but now I find it all too easy not having to buy anything.:p
6. Will your interest in GL begin to fade if the brand is not soon picked up by at least one major retailer like Wal-Mart? There is some value to me, to be able to buy retail as an inpulse buy. If I go OLD I tend to buy everything in one fell swoop to save time and postage which gets pretty expensive.
7. Do you mind being dependant on purchasing GL castings from an OLD? Actually they have been out saviors as of late, no?
8. Can you live on just well done true Muscle cars or does your die-cast diet require more? I can live with it but NOT if it's the same car everybody else has already done well. I don't need another '68 Camaro just to say it's a GL or a '57 Chevy.
9. Which do you prefer, the Muscle series or the Corvette/Corvette Pace series? I must say the Pace cars are fascinating but I've never been a big Vette guy. I prefer muscle and that Dodge should be just killer. Keep that up and I'm yours.
10. If there was one thing I could change about GL castings it would be........? The truer to scale cars sometimes creates fit issues in some of the casses you buy to show them off. I applaud the fact GL wants an Impala to be larger than a Bug but there is some value to the fact all cars can fit in a certain size space.

1. Have you tried to get one of each of all the regular release GL casting variations so far.
Yes. Sucessfully.

2. Do you also show interest in the promo versions like Reno and Russ' Flamed series?
Yes. If I like the casting/deco.

3. If yes to #2, do you buy them direct from the parent site or do you try and find them cheaper on e-bay?
Depends on the car/price.

4. Do you only buy what you like or are you going to try and keep up with all GL offerings?
I'll try to keep up with all GL MCG series.

5. Did your interest in GL come about due to their attention to detail only or did the fact other manufacturers are getting away from what you are interested in, play a part in your interest?
A little of both, actually.

6. Will your interest in GL begin to fade if the brand is not soon picked up by at least one major retailer like Wal-Mart?
No way.

7. Do you mind being dependant on purchasing GL castings from an OLD?
Not at all.

8. Can you live on just well done true Muscle cars or does your die-cast diet require more?
Cars I like. Period. It doesn't necessarily have to be muscle cars. I like the Vettes, but not all of them.

9. Which do you prefer, the Muscle series or the Corvette/Corvette Pace series?
Muscle Car Garage

10. If there was one thing I could change about GL castings it would be........?
Add multi-colored interiors or at least paint the color every time. Don't just inject the interior color. Painted interiors are much more realistic.

1. Have you tried to get one of each of all the regular release GL casting
variations so far.
Only the MCG series (the only series I want so far) and I buy in sets from OLD's

2. Do you also show interest in the promo versions like Reno and Russ' Flamed series? If no, go to question four.
Sadly no. As neat as they are I have a limit to what I can afford cost and space wise. I just can't get 'everything'...

3. If yes to #2, do you buy them direct from the parent site or do you try and find them cheaper on e-bay?
4. Do you only buy what you like or are you going to try and keep up with all GL offerings?
Only what I like...

5. Did your interest in GL come about due to their attention to detail only or did the fact other manufacturers are getting away from what you are interested in, play a part in your interest?
Detail, authenticity, moving parts, and all metal baby!

6. Will your interest in GL begin to fade if the brand is not soon picked up by at least one major retailer like Wal-Mart?
Not as long as I can get them from an OLD for the same price.

7. Do you mind being dependant on purchasing GL castings from an OLD?
Nope. But price, availability, and service are really important there.

8. Can you live on just well done true Muscle cars or does your die-cast diet require more?
That all depends on the definition of 'more'.

9. Which do you prefer, the Muscle series or the Corvette/Corvette Pace series?
Muscle cars for the variety. I get Vette'd out quickly.

10. If there was one thing I could change about GL castings it would be........?
Nothing yet they're evolving quite nicely, I did start getting a little worried with the MCG 'Custom' cars and their hoopty wheels. "Custom" anything is one man's dreamboat and another man's shipwreck...

A couple questions please.

1. Have you tried to get one of each of all the regular release GL casting variations so far.
YES, each one is so detailed

2. Do you also show interest in the promo versions like Reno and Russ' Flamed series? If no, go to question four.

5. Did your interest in GL come about due to their attention to detail only or did the fact other manufacturers are getting away from what you are interested in, play a part in your interest?

10. If there was one thing I could change about GL castings it would be........? Veer away from the weird colored wheels and odd "custom" color choices. They were actually pegwarmers at our TRU. I don't mind non-stock colors, but they should look appropriate for each car's time period.

Thanks for asking!

1. Have you tried to get one of each of all the regular release GL casting variations so far.
No
2. Do you also show interest in the promo versions like Reno and Russ' Flamed series? If no, go to question four.
Yes
3. If yes to #2, do you buy them direct from the parent site or do you try and find them cheaper on e-bay?
Parent site
4. Do you only buy what you like or are you going to try and keep up with all GL offerings?
What I like, I didn't buy the MCG 2 GTO's because other than color they appeared the same as series 1.
5. Did your interest in GL come about due to their attention to detail only or did the fact other manufacturers are getting away from what you are interested in, play a part in your interest?
Detail was nice though I jumped at them because they offered a 69 Boss 302, 429, and convertible 70.
6. Will your interest in GL begin to fade if the brand is not soon picked up by at least one major retailer like Wal-Mart?
Nah, I buy most of my stuff on-line
7. Do you mind being dependant on purchasing GL castings from an OLD?
A little. I wish I could find everything I want in the stores
8. Can you live on just well done true Muscle cars or does your die-cast diet require more?
Well done muscle cars are not as important as having a variety of different cars.
9. Which do you prefer, the Muscle series or the Corvette/Corvette Pace series?
Muscle cars
10. If there was one thing I could change about GL castings it would be........?
I can't complain about anything right now. For a new company they are doing everything just about right in my opinion. I appreciate the question contest they had in September and the fact that they responded personally via email. The castings are excellent and GL has attempted to make some of the castings a little different to justify buying a second. My one and only small gripe would be that they should have used the Boss 429 casting for the 69 Mach 1 so they would not have needed the decal side scoops.

To see some white wall tires , instead of overdone redlines .. If more 'customs' are done , no ugly colored wheels (Gold , black or gray) or odd 2 tones like the red / gold Mustang or brown / gray GTO .. That GTO is always the last one left in a store .. ( The few that Ive seen ) .
If late 60's Mopars are done , please refrain from putting vinyl tops on everything !!
