1978 Corvette.

I'm guessing, due to the fact most GL's seem to be hard to come by, that anything done well would sell. It's safe to pick the new Mustang and Vette and I understand the following and all but to me, I far more appreciate doing the Coronet than I do another new Mustang or in this case, the '78 Vette. Tri-Chevy etc, I know, will sell and is a safe bet every time and doing a Falaschi bodied Delahaye is a gamble but there is many, many die-cast out there yet that could be done and still be distinctive. The fact a Dodge and Olds were done speaks well and if the plan is to do a majority of castings that also lends itself to that year Indy Pace car like the Vette and Olds along with many of the other Vettes done, I'd like to throw out some of the other years that nobody else as attempted yet in die-cast, like the 1962 Lark, 1959 Electra, '63 Chrysler 300 etc. All Pace cars, all cool cars, none done by anybody else. When you only knock out 2,000 of each anyway, my bet is these would sell out.

Thoughts?

Speaking of Vettes, I can't wait to see how that paint job turns out on the Z06 Daytona Pace Car. If they pull that off right with that scheme, they can do anything.

I bet the guy setting up that pad print job is going nuts! lol

I am just disappointed they will not be able to do the Daytona Pace car in 1/64 scale.... damn licensing problems....

Not in 1/24 scale either, that was cancelled I believe.

I'd take the Lark, Electra, and 300 in a heartbeat. Also bring on a '60 Olds 98, '65 Fury,'73 Eldo, '75 & '76 Centuries, '77 Olds 88, and '83 Riviera. I'd buy 'em all. Make 'em in 1/64 AND 1/24 !!!!

Is that true for ALL Daytona stuff? I see GL was doing a 68 Daytona Camaro Pace Car in 1:18th and assumed it might hit smaller scales as well. Is it part of that NASACAR license nightmare? Too bad, I wanted to see them pull that pad print off.

I`m sure a Shelby GLHS 4-door or Grand National would sell out faster than anything else.
