Wouldn't break my heart if they decided to do a version where the hood is removed, it has a monster blower and some period correct "Wide O's" on the back. No need for a gumball number as those areas are already covered by others but rather a true Car Craft style asphalt munching Mopar. Got to have stock no doubt but I'd like GL to give this type a try and see what they can do.

No Zinger, no air plane graphics but the stuff guys did back in the day.

Thoughts?

As long as it is not another Muscle Machine wannabe like 1BaddRide it would be cool. Just keep it real. ;-)

I agree. It would be cool, not only as a street racer, but also as a super stock in Ramchargers, Color Me Gone, etc. liveries. While we're at it, what would you think of an A/FX altered wheelbase version?

1BaddRide??? Are they still here???

Back in the day the big boys were running altered wheel base cars. I don't remember seeing a lot of pictures of blown cars from the 60's outside of that group. I would love to see GL do cars like the HW Real Rider Gas Ronda Thunderbolt or Jenkins Camaro. Wouldnt have to be a real drivers car (though perferable) just add some racing decals. Now if GL really wanted to have me fall in love with them, they would make some A/FX drag cars from the 60's.

edit: heh, madmanmark. I just now see you had the same thoughts as I did.

Yes to everything said! I do agree that the key for GL is to keep it "REAL"! Every other brand ( and I do mean EVERY other brand) has done the toon', toy, fantasy, junk to death. Just keep it real!
