I can remember the first time I saw a WL without knowing it was. This casting had white tires on it as it was one of the early PM pull back slot body cars. It looked to me like a car a kid placed on the top of his birthday cake and ran it through white icing. I left it thinking that thing would never sell. I know, what a dolt. Anyway, it seems that pretty much all the high end WL castings that reach strato level have white tires, right?

With that, I appreciate the fact the GL "Greens" are still stock other than the jade green paint but do you think those cars would create even more of a frenzy with green rubber tires? Or, should we not even go there bucking the trend of playing follow the next guy?

I think the green body is enough. The green tires are a bit much, IMHO. My favorite whites are the all white bodies, not the white tires.

It could look goofy but I've seen people darn near go fist to cuffs over some of those white tired castings and in some bizarre way I myself can't seem to grasp the Svengali trance I find myself in when seeing some of these wishing I had them as well. One of those, "things that make you go hmmmmm?"

I bet as an experiment, if you had those same cars in regular paint, with green tires, people would go nuts. I can't explain it, I just think they would.

I think no matter what they do It will still be a very desirable chase car.
But in my opinion, might as well make it a good looking Chase car.
And the Green Body is all it needs to do so.

The green rims on the vett look cool, but the Body paint is still prob the best variation, while keeping a nice clean look.
They are Sweet!

See, I don't like the green rims, I think it is too distracting from the Pace Car. One of those different strokes things I guess.

The Greens also have gray interiors . I assume so the green color doesnt clash with the standard vehicles interior color . Example , a red interior would look bad with the green car ... Something Hot Wheels would do in a heartbeat ....

I havent been enough lucky to find a Green Machine 'in the wild' . But have got a few off epay . Most - especially the Mustangs - seem to go into the stratosphere in bidding on epay ...
