How has the value stood up in the secondary market? Comparable to T-Hunts and WL's, little better, little worse? Do you think the fact that the following "numbers wise" lags in scale to the others has anything to do with it or is the quality winning out and perhaps now is the time to get them BEFORE the rest figure it out?

About the same as WL's. Expensive when they hit, then fall in price.
Green Machines are no secret with scalpers. Our local guy said he hit almost every K-Mart in Mass. for Green Machines. He called them "Greenies" though.

I've been keeping a close eye on prices, as I run Greenlight Garage. Most hit $50.00 to $55.00, but some of the Stangs go well over $100.00.

I've been watching the Impalas. Seen them as high as $100, and as low as $25. They are leveled off around $50 now.

My favorites are the Green Machine Mustangs. And from what I've seen, they seem to be holding their value for now on certain auction sites, going for between $60 and $100 or so.
I've tried to trade for any of these in the past weeks on a few of the high-traffic hobby sites -- without any GM trades to show for it yet . There's no doubt that the GMs are high-demand premium pieces that are bound to keep their value, if not increase with time (much like in 1995, when Mattel introduced Hot Wheels T-Hunts).
Today, I just received a box of my first 6 MCG Stock & Custom Mustangs, and I have to say they are incredible. All of the pictures I've seen posted around the various trade and hobby sites haven't done these amazing cars justice. I'd passed on collecting JL Mustangs over the years, partly because there are so many of them, and partly because many of the castings/colors just didn't appeal. That being said, I think I'm going to collect all 1/64 scale GL Mustangs they're that good!
Now, if only they'd start selling GL in Canada. I've been told this is in the works ... but when is anyone's guess.
GreenLight has come up with some excellent products with the MCG and other releases. I hope they keep on going strong. Way to go GreenLight!

Green Machines, Treasure Hunts, White Lightnings.....yada yada. All ploys to make people pay more for a little chinese made car that costs about 10 cents to build. I think they are all silly. (My opinion only)
