I want to upgrade my video card. Awhile ago I added a USB 2.0 PCI card and that was simple enough. The video cards seem to need an available AGP slot. How do I know if I have that? I have a Compac Presario 5000, P4,1.6, 256MB DDR SDRAM, etc, about 3.5 years old. Any help appreciated.

Just found this in Sys Devices: Intel(R)82845 Processor to AGP controller 1A31. Located in PCI bus 0, device 1, function 0.

Translation?

Open the case of your computer and look inside. If you see a slot like is pictured below in the blue square, you have an AGP slot.
