Well guys, the old place is history and Chris and Dave have done a great good with the place. The track is now 36x80 and they now now a real AC and furnace, no more propane blast. Great food just down the street too.

Right now they are running Oval on Saturday nights. Doors open at 4pm and racing starting at 7:30pm.
Classes are:
4300 brushless
13.5/brush stock
18th scale

So lets get all the guys to dust off the cars and come on out.

Good racin last night. Klyber goes 76 and Rick runs a quick 75. 13.5 is starting to get a lot faster and close, maybe too close.:D Good run for Devin and Jason too. Hey Devin, at least you finished 2nd to another guy from Missouri.:thumbsup:

MK -- I was looking into 4300BL setups and noticed something odd... Tower/Great Planes and Horizon no longer list "combos". In fact, Tower doesn't list ANY 4300 items -- Horizon only sells the motor separately... Have you heard anything..?

Hi Tom, no I haven't heard anything like that. Murdock R/C has some nice deals on combos. If you get BL for oval, go with the 13.5.

Come on over some Saturday and race with us. We've been getting 3-4 brush stock and 4-6 13.5. Usually 2-3 4300 cars.

Thanks for the tip Mike, but the Murdock combos are $80 more than the Novak SS+ combos at Tower -- is the GTB really $80 better than the SS+ ESC...?

OH -- how do I cut the comm on a brushless... :D JUST KIDDING! :D

Tom-Yes the GTB is a lot better than the SS+. The GTB won't thermal as easy as the SS+.

Hey Tom, been a while since I talked to you. I enjoyed racing with you in Columbia those couple weeks before they shut the track down. I have been running the 13.5 with Mike and the others. It is very competitive and still fast as well. We are running lap times only a couple tenths off the fast 4300 guys. Hope you can make it sometime. Just not this Saturday, headed to Vinton.
